Vital Word: The Church Crisis

Vital Word is a new series of video blogs aimed at providing support in reading and following Scripture by linking passages to current events affecting Catholics and the Church as whole. The series is being published weekly on the Grandin Media Youtube channel.

With this video, Grandin Media is beginning a new approach to support you in reading and following Sacred Scripture. You’ll recall that in Archbishop Smith’s pastoral letter released a year ago, he asked everyone to make the Word of God the centre and guide of their lives. Among the supports that we offered over the past year were videos we called “Minute in the Word,” where some priests and deacons offered a daily reflection on the Scripture readings given in the weekday lectionary. Now we are moving to a weekly rather than daily offering. This is the first in this new approach.
